Drying the Walls in a Commercial Building to Prevent Mold Growth

When it comes to drying out a building after water damage, time is of the essence. The cost of repairs can skyrocket, and the risk of mold growth increases, too. Here's a look at one company that was able to mitigate the damage and get things back to normal quickly.

A commercial building in Fort Worth, TX, had a significant water leak. The leak went undetected for some time, causing extensive damage to the walls and floors.

The building owner contacted SERVPRO to come and assess the damage. Our Fort Worth Water Damage Restoration team arrived on site and got to work right away. We used our advanced drying equipment, dehumidifiers, and air movers, to quickly dry out the building. We also used our antimicrobial treatment to help prevent mold growth.

Once we had the equipment in place, our team got to work on drying out the building. We started by removing any standing water with extractors. We continued this process until the building was completely dry.

After intensive work, the crew had the building dried out and was on the road to recovery. The before and after photos show the dramatic difference our team was able to make.

If you have a water damage emergency, don't wait! Contact SERVPRO of North Richland Hills today. We're always here to help!
