Board Up in Dallas after Tornado

SERVPRO of North Richland Hills is faster to any disaster. Our production team is on call 24/7 for when there is an emergency. Our emergency services do not restrict us to just removing large quantities of water. In the event of a fire or a storm, there are multiple safety precautions that are taken. Most fires cause windows to bust due to the pressure; fire fighters bust down front doors, interior doors, and anything in the way in order to extinguish a fire. Once a fire courses through a home or business, structural issues need to be considered. When a fire is put out, until a structural engineer can make it on-site, we perform board-ups to the windows and doors that were damaged during the fire. This is an emergency service that we provide that can give some comfort and peace-of-mind that no one can get into your home and steal your belongings while you are being put out of your home. It also protects the home or business from further damage such as wind, rain, or any other natural forces. When using this emergency service, it does not bind the customer to use our mitigation services. This is an additional service that we wanted to be available to the members of our community.This photo was taken inside of a home in Dallas after the October 2019 tornado swept through the area. After the storm, the windows were unstable and shattered in multiple areas of the home. This family wanted our team to secure their home so that no one could get into the home without a key.
